together we Advocate

Educational advocacy and transition to adult services advocacy are crucial for ensuring that individuals with disabilities receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive throughout their lives. Educational advocacy helps families navigate the complexities of the educational system, securing appropriate accommodations and services that foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This advocacy ensures that children with disabilities can access quality education tailored to their unique needs, promoting their academic and personal development. As these individuals approach adulthood, transition advocacy becomes essential in guiding them through the shift from school-based services to adult services. It helps identify vocational and educational opportunities, connect with community resources, and develop skills for independent living. Together, these advocacy efforts provide a continuous support system, empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling, independent lives.

Educational Advocacy

Navigating the educational system can be challenging for parents of children with special needs. Our Educational Advocacy Services are designed to empower families of children with disabilities by providing expert guidance and support throughout their educational journey. We assist parents in understanding their child's rights, navigating the complexities of the educational system, and securing the necessary accommodations and services to ensure a successful learning experience. Our team of experienced advocates collaborates with families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), attend school meetings, and advocate for appropriate resources and support. By working closely with educators and administrators, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth for every child. Our goal is to ensure that each child receives a quality education tailored to their unique needs, fostering their potential and paving the way for a bright future. We also offer education on the SB-10 waiver for private schools and home-school and online learning options. We offer advocates in the form of volunteers who are available as time permits free of charge, reasonably priced paid advocates, and attorneys we can refer you to partner with in the event you should need one.
